It culls Craigslist for part-time and other short-term jobs (or gigs, in musician parlance) so you can quickly find something or things to help you fill in for that missing or not-quite-enough paycheck. You can also create a public profile for yourself to let folks searching this board for some short-term talent find you. It's quirky and Joe's Frugality Tips will give you a chuckle.
