- National Association of Church Business Administration
- ..."an interdenominational, professional, Christian organization which exists to train,
certify, and provide resources for those serving in the field of church administration." They
offer training toward certification as a Fellow in Church Business Administration (FCBA) along
with a number of workshops and conferences to assist others in this work. The web site features
some terrific resources, including job listings and links to additional sources.

- International Society of Appraisers
- "...provides education and organizational support to our members and serves the
public by producing highly qualified and ethical appraisers who are recognized authorities
in professional personal property appraising." For the public, there is information on why hire an
assessor along with a searchable directory of certified appraisers. For those
interested in this field, there is information on assessment, training and certification.
- American Society of Appraisers
- "...committed to fostering professional excellence in its membership through education,
accreditation, publication and other services." The general public can search their
online directory to find an expert valuer (a larger field than those represented by the
ISA). Persons interested in this field can learn more about training and certification
opportunities, the many appraisal disciplines and specialties available, and the
benefits of membership (which includes a members-only job bank).
- Appraisal Institute
- ..."an international membership association of professional real estate appraisers, with more than
18,000 members and 99 chapters throughout the United States, Canada and abroad." The
Jobs board lists several openings for appraisers and is open to the public.
- American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers
- ..."representing professionals in financial analysis, valuation, and management of agricultural and
rural resources." The basic objective of the ASFMRA is "to create and maintain a professionally
trained group of farm managers, rural appraisers, review appraisers and accredited agricultural
consultants capable of providing expert guidance and assistance to farmland owners, farmers, and
other groups which have caretaking responsibilities for farm lands and rural properties. These
caretakers include banks, insurance companies, attorneys, accountants, etc." Another
interesting facet of the appraisal industry. Persons interested in this field will find a lot of
information here along with links to many many related resources and services (like Members'
Companies -- potential employers!)
- The Appraisal Foundation
- "Authorized by Congress as the Source of Appraisal Standards and Appraiser Qualifications."
This is a not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to the advancement of professional
valuation established by the appraisal profession in the United States in 1987.
Persons interested in this field will appreciate the information on Becoming an Appraiser,
found under the Quick Links on the front page. This page will also take you to the State
Real Estate Appraiser Regulatory Boards for all 50 states plus DC, American Samoa, Guam,
Puerto Rico, the Mariana Islands, and the US Virgin Islands. Educational information is
also available here.

- ... an online job site for the call center and customer
relationship management (CRM) industries. The site includes job postings, a
resume bank, industry news and specialized career services.
Registration is not required to search the database nor apply for the jobs.
- Call Center Teams.com
- ...a Canadian executive search service for the Call Centre Industry. At the
time of review they did have some job announcements for you to review, all
in Canada.

- "Since 1995 the Corporate Governance site has provided news, internet
links, and a small reference library. Corporate Governance serves as a
discussion forum and NETwork for stakeholders who believe active
participation by shareholders in the governing of corporations will enhance
their ability to create wealth." This site relies on input from others, but
it has also aggregated an impressive library of links to other good sources.
- Governance
- ...a UK-based publication covering corporate governance issues
in the major capital markets worldwide. Most materials on the
site require subscription or payment of fee, but their Useful Links
is a marvelous collection of connections to much more information.

- "Everything You Need To Know About Doing Business on the Internet"
The E-Commerce Times is a free online publication, with daily news
and feature articles for entrepreneurs and companies doing business
on the Internet. Articles include career topics, I-Marketing, Opinion,
Industry Guides, CRM, and much more.

ComputerWorld Knowledge Center
- ...this is a collection of articles plus links to resources for this topic courtesy of
ComputerWorld. On the front page you'll find the latest headlines from their
publication along with discussion groups, even listings, a glossary of terms for this
topic, vendor listings, product reviews, vendor white papers, and research links.
You can also access topical subdivisions under E-Commerce from the pulldown
menu at the top of the page. There may be other Knowledge Centers here which
relate to this topic, like CRM and Mobile & Wireless.

limited job postings for temporary and permanent office support. The site is
updated weekly, and also provides a form to post resumes. Useful information is
available on job searching, resume, and interview techniques. A salary guide for
this level of employment is also included.

network of more than 200 offices worldwide."
- Stivers Staffing Services
- ..."the oldest national temporary personnel service in the nation,
is a one-stop staffing company specializing in temporary, temp-to-hire
and permanent office help." You can review their list of offices, new
from each office, and a full list of positions they are working to fill in the
US and Canada.

- ...a professional association of buyers and purchasing managers and offer education and certification programs for these professionals. Jobs listed in the Career Center can be viewed by visitors but employer contact information is restricted to registered members of the association.
- BuyingJobs.com
- ... a site for purchasing and supply chain professionals. Scroll past the surveys, advertisements, and client list to get to the list of feature jobs.
- ContractsJobs.com
- ...just jobs for contracts and procurement specialists. You can search the database and review the jobs without registering but you must register and build a resume in order to apply for any positions listed here. There is no information on who is operating this site, but a search of the WHOIS register reveals it to be a team from Carmon Group, a nationally focused, professional search and staffing firm based in Cleveland, OH.
- International Purchasing Service
- ...a recruiting and temporary services firm providing professional purchasing management
on a temporary basis. A short list of recent jobs are available.
- Institute for Supply Management
- ...the professional association for the field. This site includes their publications, information on
careers and courses in purchasing management, and links to related resources including local chapters.
The ISM job and resume databases are free to members and available to non-members for a fee, but the list of additional career
resources is available to nonmembers. Those curious about a career in this field will find good information here.
Many of the local chapters have employment opportunities on their web pages. You
can find them under the About ISM. There are also other valuable career resources if you look around this site.
- SupplyChainRecruit
- ...a global job board dedicated to purchasing, logistics and supply chain management. At the
time of review, the listings were only in the UK, but there were a lot of them.

website includes job listings in the relocation industry, a great
online research library to help you find the answers to legal and
other questions, articles from Mobility Magazine, and the Worldwide

- ...executive search firm that provides recruiting services to the Real Estate and
Construction industries. They work to assist in the placement of mid- to senior-level
Real Estate professionals involved in finance, accounting, construction, property and
asset management, leasing, and all other related areas. Interested candidates can
review current employment opportunities and submit resumes via their website.
- IREM, the Institute of Real Estate Management
- ...provides training, information, research, analysis, and practical advice for
professionals managing all types of income-producing real estate at all career levels.
Offers various certification and accreditation programs. Job listings are for members
only. Several local chapters have their own web sites too.
- CoreNet Global
- ...an organization for business leaders engaged in the
strategic management of real estate for major corporations worldwide.
Check out select articles from their magazine Corporate Real Estate Executive
and browse the Career Services area for job listings for RE Managers as well as facility planners and
managers, lease negotiators, and facility designers. The job listings are open
to the public, and they also have a short list of executive search firms who work
in this field.
